12 Ways of Celebrating of Kate on Her Birthday: I take this time to honor you, the woman with whom I share my love and my life. You make me grow new brain cells. You make me express my favorite genes. You have vast resources of wisdom, strength and feeling.  I never have to guess what you are thinking.  That is a rare and wonderful thing among humans. Time alone with you can be a refreshing and mind opening experience. As a mother, you are dynamic, proud, thoughtful and loving. Who could ask for more? You inspire me with your careful explorations, you are a seeker and you are energetic and resourceful in your pursuit of that which you seek. You are beautiful and mysterious. I thank my lucky stars that you finally relented after all those years I spent chasing you. I thank my lucky stars that I relented after those two hours you spent chasing me.
