I watched American Movie just now.  Haven't laughed helplessly at a movie like that in several years.  Up there with Crumb and Roger and Me.  What I love even more is that Mark Bortchert, the star, keeps a web log.  I just read the entire archives from 1999 when the film first came out.  Lots of funny stories on there, if you think Mike choking in a restaurant is funny.  Depressing story of the Milwaukee shock-jock getting them all drunk just for some material for his show. 1:46:17 AM    comment []
