Why distressed fabric?  Well, it points to everything at once.  My soul, my lower back, the environment, the people down the street who paid $1200 for a beat-up looking couch, the fabric of reality, my comfortable jeans, the lies we are told getting stretched thin.  Stare at the word fabric for a while and you can't recognize it any more.  It is a bizarre word.  fabric.  Underlying Structure, Cloth, "The arrangement of physical components in relation to one another"  Texture,quality. 1:53:57 PM    comment []

This morning, there were two balloons tied to a tree across the street from our house.  My mind immediately called forth a psychopathic clown that left balloons as markers to the houses he would come back later to attack.  So I hacked the balloons apart and hid them so he would leave us alone. 1:23:05 PM    comment []
