Home Schooling
It starts to make more sense every day. Why let our kids be punished by budget cuts and the enforced mediocrity? Why make use of a system that has been designed down into warehousing for society's least valued citizens?
As we research homeschooling options, my questions are:
- Aren't most homeschoolers freaks?
- Do we have an uninformed prejudice of the public schools? Do we think they are worse than they really are?
- Will our children be alienated from their peers who get fed on chocolate milk disney programs at their schools?
- Are we just trying to shelter our children by avoiding the trauma that is school?
The positives:
- Avoid the social problems and budget cuts that make public schools less than ideal.
- Cut out all the administrative bullshit that takes time and resources away from learning
