From All Things Distributed Floater Lesson. The girls watching me take off As a birthday present my women had given me an introduction 'floater' lesson. These are lesson how to fly the water planes that you see all around lake Washington. So today we went up to  Kenmore Air for my lesson. It was magic. It is so much smoother than land landings and take off. We went out with a Piper Cub, and we did a number of landings and take offs on the lake near Sandy Point. Isaac, the instructor, did a good job in actually making me believe I had control during take offs and landings. I am hooked and I'll be back for more. New York State and Renewable Energy NY State 25% RPS: "The New York State Public Service Commission today voted to adopt a renewable energy policy designed to increase to at least 25 percent by 2013 the proportion of electricity sold to consumers in New York State that is generated from renewable resources. .. To meet the 25 percent target, it is estimated that New York State will need to add approximately 3,700 megawatts (MWs) of renewable resource generation capacity. By 2013, the Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS) Program is forecast to reduce statewide air emissions of nitrogen oxide (NOx) by 6.8 percent, sulfur dioxide (SO2) by 5.9 percent, and carbon dioxide (CO2) by 7.7 percent, with a greater proportion of emission reductions expected in New York City and Long Island. .. Customer bill impacts for the RPS are expected to be modest. In fact, wholesale energy prices will likely decline as a result of adding substantial amounts of renewable resources, thereby offsetting some of the Program costs and associated bill impacts. For residential customers, over the life of the Program, cumulative bill impacts are forecast to range from a reduction of 0.9 percent to an increase of 1.68 percent; for commercial customers, estimated bill impacts range from a 0.78 percent reduction to a 1.79 percent increase; and for industrial consumers, bill impacts could range from a reduction of 1.54 percent to an increase of 2.2 percent. The cumulative cost of premium payments, projected to range between $582 million and $762 million for renewable projects, is expected to be offset by approximately $362 million in wholesale energy cost reductions as New York reduces its reliance upon fossil fuels. Il a fallu que je change la batterie du D-50 en catastrophe en fin d'après-midi : Évidemment, j'ai oublié de sauvegarder les banques de sons avant la manoeuvre, et j'ai eu droit à une belle surprise en redémarrant l'instrument. Heureusement, j'avais une copie de sécurité plus ou moins à jour et grâce à laquelle j'ai réussi à restaurer les sons à temps pour la rencontre de Poligraf : Benoît était présent pour ajouter ses percussions électroniques à l'ensemble. Malheureusement, d'autres engagements ne lui permettent pas de s'impliquer dans le groupe en tant que batteur. Mais on s'est entendu pour qu'il puisse contribuer de manière improvisée, dans un rôle plus ou moins défini et sans trop de contraintes, un peu comme Jamie Muir le faisait pour King Crimson à l'époque. The 2004 ProjeKction Music ProjeKct Beloved be the one who sits down. J'ai nager pour... Beloved be the one who sits down. J'ai écouté "Sånger från andra våningen" hier soir. Mario m'avait laissé le DVD lors de la rencontre du trio samedi dernier. Difficile de bien résumer ce film, mais j'aime bien l'appellation "film poem" que l'on peut retrouver sur IMDb. Fait intéressant, toutes les scènes sauf une ont été filmées à caméra fixe et en une seule prise. Une chose est sûre, je le recommande fortement. J'ai revampé la page d'information sur le service Weed et j'en ai publié la version française cet après-midi. Mine de rien, j'ai mis beaucoup de temps à en choisir le design et à l'obtenir, mais le processus en a valu la peine et je suis très satisfait du résultat final. Un peu après, j'ai reçu la visite d'un acheteur potentiel particulièrement sympathique qui s'est montré très intéressé par le bungalow. J'ai bien hâte que mon agent me communique le compte-rendu de cette visite. J'ai presque terminé l'exploration des modules de son que mon neveu m'a gentiment confié vendredi dernier. Beaucoup de sons, peut-être même trop. Comme j'étais à la recherche de timbres particuliers pouvant servir à la réalisation de "Flight Of The Great Pumpkin", j'en ai sûrement ignoré plusieurs autres dont la pertinence se révelera peut-être dans des contextes différents. Le DC de "The 2004 ProjeKction Music ProjeKct" est en cours de production et devrait être disponible sous peu. Notre travail fut très fructueux et nous avons bien progressé. Nous avons décidé de commencer chacune de nos sessions par de l'improvisation, et j'ai particulièrement apprécié la séance de ce soir. Malheureusement, Miguel sera fort probablement à Cuba la fin de semaine prochaine, et si c'est le cas notre série de rencontres hebdomadaires devra s'arrêter à deux.
