Column By Governor Howard Dean
Read the Governor's Latest Column.

Governor Dean published his latest column today, titled "Environmental Policy Affects Health, Economy Security."

"One of the many things I learned when I ran for president is that 95% of all Americans want job opportunities, health care coverage, high quality public education and a foreign policy consistent with American moral values."

"And, there is a fifth area we also have in common, which has hardly been mentioned at all during the campaign. Our environment. This issue is not just about state parks and land conservation; it affects our health, economy and national security."

The Governor lists many of the economic and health side-effects of the Bush administration's energy and environmental policy, brought to you by Cheney's Classified Energy Squad (a.k.a. Enron et al). "Environmental policy is not just about beautiful surroundings," says Governor Dean. "Environmental policy is about health, national security and jobs. We desperately need a president who understands that."

A High-Stakes Election
Arizona voter rolls balloon by 'bunches'. Arizona heads into the Nov. 2 election with more than 450,000 additional registered voters than four years ago, a dramatic increase for a high-stakes election that will decide a president and a number of controversial local issues. Portola Redwoods
Portola Redwoods. A little camping in the Portola Redwoods State Park this past weekend. Gorgeous. A bit chilly at nite, but, oh, those stars. Great fun. Aside from a kink in my neck from sleeping in that gigantic tent we had (which somehow seemed easier when I was a kid), it was a very nice time. I love the smell of the Redwoods. There's nothing like it.

3 Aspects of Reflective Blogging
3 aspects of Reflective Blogging... The beauty of blogging is because it is a journal where you put your thoughts, minds, and all those little things that are popping up from the back of your mind, into a well documented version. But then, it is... [a r g a d i t a]
