So just how Blue and Red is each state....
Here is a great map, courtesy of MSNBC, that shows on a color gradient just how blue or red each state was.
To me, this says that the general populations of each state are a lot closer together than the partisan
fringes, or, for that matter, a glance at the Electoral College map would lead us to believe. Most of these
states end up some shade of bluish or reddish magenta, not solidly one primary color or another.
