Christopher Hitchens Doesn't Like "The Passion"
...and he doesn't like Mel Gibson either.
I've read many negative reviews and analyses of Mel Gibson's movie in the last few days, but the literate Mr Hitchens does a sly demolition job in SLATE. Whew! Acid.
Funny, this is one movie I have no intention of watching. This from a guy who watched "2001: A Space Odyssey" for the first time on TCM last night - then went onto the web for two hours to have it explained to him - only 26 years later.
