While reading James McGovern's blog on enterprise architecture, I was led to this piece on Compliance Oriented Architecture by Redmonk.  Redmonk outlines the specific vendors grouped by enterprise function into a core services model.

Speaking of architecture, Michael Wolf presents some fascinating images of Hong Kong.
