Some interesting developments from around the country in state government IT:
- South Carolina signs a portal agreement with NIC. A webcast from this morning's announce by Jeff Fraser is available online.
- Arizona moves to outsource its network. The contract with Accenture will also include replacing old phones with VoIP. I have suggested that VoIP needs to become an enterprise initiative in the near future here in Utah.
- A new white paper from Edelman advocates the use of blogs for public relations
