Governor Mike Leavitt will host five regional meetings throughout the state this September and October to receive broad public feedback on the state’s transition to competency-measured learning. The Summit, which was announced in the governor’s 2003 State of the State address, will provide a forum for parents, teachers, administrators, elected officials, business leaders and others to develop a clear agenda of the key tasks, needed resources and timelines for moving forward.
