VRmag posted an in-depth interview with leading panoramic photographer Scott Highton today. Scott is not only a great photographer but a nice guy too. The article mentions the many pioneering projects he has done using QuickTime VR; but Scott does more than just QTVR. The last time I saw him was at a Bay Area QTVR Association meeting, at which he demonstrated building a two-shot iPIX VR of the Lincoln Memorial at sunrise. In this situation the light was changing so fast that he needed to capture the scene in two shots. Finally Scott has a number of documentary film credits, including some for the Discovery channel. I highly recommend reading this two part article.

Purpose
VRlog provides news, developments and analysis of the virtual reality (VR) world from a nature photographer's perspective. Since I am not connected to or funded by any VR vendor, I intend to objectively appraise what's going on, and the direction VR is headed in. -- erik goetze
