Some discussion recently raised the possibility that Realviz Stitcher uses bilinear interpolation rather than bicubic. Does anyone know if this is definitely true? Ever since Photoshop has offered bicubic, that has been the recommended approach to interpolation.

In the subject of interpolation, Adobe Photoshop CS will offer two new ways of interpolating: Bicubic smoother and Bicubic Sharper. From DPreview.

Purpose
VRlog provides news, developments and analysis of the virtual reality (VR) world from a nature photographer's perspective. Since I am not connected to or funded by any VR vendor, I intend to objectively appraise what's going on, and the direction VR is headed in. -- erik goetze
