QuickTime 6.6 to support high-resolution audio, B-Frame video, from AppleInsider. In the post it turns out QT6.6 has been under test by developers since last month. New metadata storage, H.264 codec, new APIs, a new developer framework called QTKit; the list goes on and on. The audio architecture is being revamped to provide more options and higher quality sound. No mention of any VR changes. 7:02:16 AM

Apple on Tuesday released Motion, its long-awaited real-time motion graphics design software application aimed at video professionals and others. The software integrates with Final Cut Pro and DVD Studio Pro, and costs US$299. From MacCentral. 6:45:58 AM
