My cousin Lawrence is one of the best writers I know, especially of short stories, of which one of his previous writings ("The Night Gravity Reversed") is hands-down one of the best works of short fiction I have ever read.  Yes, this sounds hyperbolic, but reserve your own judgement until you're read it yourself (Lar - anywhere these folks can get this?).
