Judicial endorsements
The Free Press has endorsed for the two Supreme Court seats (1) incumbent Justice Robert Young and (2) Wayne Circuit Judge Maggie Drake over incumbent Justice Betty Weaver. Neither of these endorsements makes sense in light of the Freep's political leanings. Young is arguably the most conservative of the four Engler appointees, and Weaver is a moderate conservative jurist.

Briefs on the Web
The "Schedule of Oral Arguments" page maintained by the Michigan Supreme Court includes links to PDF versions of the briefs filed by the parties. This is an excellent resource, and one which no other state provides (to our knowledge). This began with the April 2002 session, according to the folks at Courts.net. The schedule page also provides a synopsis of each case and the legal issues presented.
