Docutek atSchool Case Study:

Carl Silva, a faculty member at Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose, CA has an article, entitled “Creating a Better Learning Environment Through Communications,” in T.H.E. Journal.  The article focuses on how Mitty High has used Docutek atSchool's course management and electronic reserves software to foster communication with parents, teachers, and students.

"The Federal Trade Commission's nationwide registry for residents who want to block unsolicited advertising via their home and cellular telephones is now available. Read the Washington Post article on the new Do-Not-Call Registry." [from the Suburban Library System]

New Study on Filtering in Schools.

"The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) and the Online Policy Group have released a study documenting the effects of Internet filtering in US schools. The study found that...[f]or every Web page correctly blocked as advertised, one or more was blocked incorrectly." [from nsls.info]
