Coffee Sounds and Morning Coffee Notes
Today, Dave links to a Business Week web article that reviews podcasting styles. The reviewer mentions listening to a Morning Coffee Notes in which Dave actually pours himself a cup of coffee. It's a favorite sound of mine, the pouring of a liquid in to a cup, but I now I associate it with Dave's podcast. I mentioned it back in January after he did a podcast that started out that way.
Dave, I wish I heard it at the start of each one! Much like the opening notes played at the top of each hour's "All Things Considered" on NPR, the sound of that coffee hitting the cup is my mental "wake up call".
