Economic woes

Wal-mart has its best day ever.  New unemployment insurance applications are at a 21 month low.  The Dow is up 1,500 points since mid-October.  This weeks jobless figures will probably be just as discouraging.

So maybe the second amendment guarantees a right to nude beaches, too?

More puzzling than funny, though, is the logic of this paragraph:

Supporters of of the D.C. laws, however, say the vast majority of gun violence is not the result of people defending themselves, but comes from criminals committing homicide.

Looks to me like the answer is obvious.  Just make it illegal for criminals to carry guns in D.C.  That ought to do it.
