This morning, I realized traffic cameras are showing up at the wrong places, on stationary mounts at intersections. They should go where the action is, attached to the front left fenders of school buses.
On my way to work, I watched as the woman manning the urban assault vehicle ahead of me sped past a stopped school bus, hypno-phone to her ear, oblivious to ten flashing red lights (I counted them) and two waving stop signs.
At first, I was glad my kids are all out of school now. Then, I remembered my oldest has one on the way, so I can't stop worrying yet.
