The New York Times says John Mohammed's acquisition of the gun found in his car had to have been illegal, since he was under a restraining order in Tacoma, Washington at the time. Of course, what we will be hearing next is that we need some more laws to make it harder to obtain a gun illegally. That makes sense... to the Brady bunch maybe.
