When the Sentinel told me they were running my contribution in their Friday Forum this week, they didn't say who I was up against. The subject was Florida's proposed constitutional amendment limiting classroom sizes and my 'opponent' was Sen. Kendrick Meek, who heads the amendment drive.

American politics should get a lot more interesting, now that New Jersey allows tag team campaigns. With primaries declared irrelevant (as voter turnouts have told us all along,) we can get back to the proper politics of back room deal-making.
