DevCon continues to be enlightening and enjoyable, both from a technical point of view and from a social one. Where else can you get to see Ben Forta singing "The Music of the Night" in a Karaoke bar with a room full of sake-drinking developers? :)
Audio/video from DevCon can be found here. Jeremy is coalescing video-blogs of the events (and, I should note, he wasn't even there!)
Web Services, although not hugely well-covered in the tracks themselves, continues to be a hot topic in the halls and during the keynotes. The aforementioned Mr. Forta demonstrated how easy it is to use ColdFusion Components to expose services to .NET, Java, and Flash Remoting. Big applause ensued.
BOF on Web Services in a couple of hours, can't wait.
I've been greatly digging the con, but I'm already looking ahead to getting home tomorrow and digging back into Axis, a bunch of writing I'm behind on, and the Web Services working groups at the W3C.
