If you don't know about Computers Assisting People (CAP) Inc. yet, you have to check it out.

This all volunteer non-profit has provided thousands of computers to over 125 local non-profits (schools, churches, groups for the disabled, seniors, ill, veterans, etc.) for NO CHARGE.

They also provide training, networking and even cabling when appropriate.  Did I mention NO CHARGE?

Today, for example, 25 people (Black and White, Male and Female, Young and Old) were at the CAP Resource Center to work and learn about fixing PCs, configuring software and the like.  7 complete systems were donated just today to places like Emmanuel Christian Church at 82nd and Superior.

While politicians and "leaders" talk about the digital divide, CAP has been quietly and efficiently closing that gap.

Check them out and see if you want to get involved.  You'll learn by doing and see dramatic improvments to the quality of people's lives resulting from your efforts.  Way Cool!
