And then there were 7, please...

I'd like to think that there is at least one county commissioner that reads our local blogs, or at least one that listens to citizens like myself during the few minutes of public time allowed at each meeting. Then again, it could be because commissioner Mike Barber and I shared a moment together astride our urinals at the Old County Courthouse, and I have an in there. Whatever the reason, please consider going out to the County Commissioner's meeting tomorrow night at 6:30 just in case a vote comes up on Mr. Barber's proposal to let the citizens of Guilford County vote on whether we would like to cut the size of our county commission down to a more sane number like seven rather than the current insane eleven. --- No guarantee of course that there is any relationship between the number of commissioners on the board and the level of operational sanity achievable.

(If I can get out early from the local JBS chapter meeting at which I am the guest of honor, I will scoot over to Comish meeting which promises to be a long one.)
