Howard Coble wins again Believing our only hope to win back our country is for the free citizenry to take back control of our Congress (forget that President stuff a Congress with a backbone is far better for our Liberty) I thought I should research our possibilites for our local Congressional races. In my 6th district Howard Coble has nothing to fear. And while I'm at it let me point out that the Democratic Party of Guilford County and North Carolina have some very lame websites. At the local levelThe Democratic and Republican parties really don't have much umph. A rather small group of dedicated individuals could really shake things up. Eye on Collectivists The Town and Country plan of Richland County (Columbia, SC) puts the area on the cutting edge of the American collectivist movement complete with Employment Based Rural Villages and a Stakeholder Participation Process. Who's idea was it though to clumsily slip in the pagan "eye of Horus" to the plan's logo? Is this to emphasize the plan as the prescription for restoring environmental health? This logo has been around several millennia but it really has come into vogue over the last few decades. It appears especially ubiquitous of late. Here is a recap: (I have taken out the color to standardize the graphics for better comparison.) Eye of Horus Town and Country Plan

Empire or Not Cheney was asked about a quotation from Benjamin Franklin that he used in his Christmas card: "If a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice, it is likely that an empire can rise without His help?" He replied that the quotation was chosen by his wife, but continued: "It shouldn't be taken as some kind of indication that the United States today sees itself as an empire." If the United States were a true empire, he said, "we would certainly preside over a much greater piece of the earth's surface than we currently do." 11:14:37 AM comment [] |
