Vandals at the Gates

Or just sore liberal losers?

Maybe dangerous now to be a Republican; at least a two headed one in Raleigh.

If you read the article maybe you'll note the line Neal on our LP e-mail group did:

"A police officer reported earlier in the night that about 100 people
wearing masks and gloves were walking down a street near the headquarters"

Not suspious, not one damn bit at all.  -- Neal

American Intel

Does anyone else find it disconcerting that the intelligence the president of the United States is getting isn't even good enough to keep him from prematurely offering his condolences for the death of Mr. Arafat?

Going off a news report on say a dead actor or singer yes, but the death of Arafat?

I wonder if he read a line or two from My Pet Goat before offering a prayer for Yasser's soul.

FTAA "Gateway to the Americas" battle

"Florida's State Department filed for the trademark in 2003 and received the registration in May but only recently made it known."

"Recently" in this case means the day after the governor's brother was re-elected president.
