Hard times for the UN in King, NC Forgot to report last week on the town hall meeting in King held last Wednesday afternoon by Virginia Foxx. I'm told by a reliable source that there were about 27 people in attendance. Mostly town father types (chamber officials, sheriff, local politicos). Congresswoman Foxx covered hot issues in Washington such as social security, etc. A question came from the crowd on the scandals in the UN. (Not from my source BTW.) Ms. Foxx detailed what she knew of the situation and then closed her commentary by noting the best thing would be if the US got out of the UN. This brought the crowd to a boisterous standing ovation. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, their beloved President is doing his best to further entangle us in schemes where the UN plays the prominent role. 3:31:32 PM
