Betting on disaster.

How many agree with me that we are nuts if we allow legislators of the ilk as found in NC the opportunity to operate a numbers racket?

If they do finally succeed in terminating our "holdout" status I hope some honest legislator will draft a bill requiring that the NC lottery tickets are printed with a watermark portrait of Meg Scott Phipps posing in an orange jumpsuit.

Cookbook Christianity (A belated Easter observation):

"Give each child a marshmallow. This represents Jesus. Have him dip the marshmallow in melted butter... "

(Some wrapping with the Pilsbury Doughboy and a trip to the oven later we learn that;)

"The marshmallow has melted and the crescent roll is puffed up, but empty."

I think the Easter bunny and his eggs may be safe for a few more years. I also can't help thinking that the last line of the recipe contains an unintentional deeper message.
