Tonight I attended the High Point University candidates forum put on by the Young Democrats and Young Republicans of the University. It was a nice event, and I thank them for putting it together. While on the camapign trail, I've been able to get to know a lot of the other candidates in Guilford County. It has really been fun!
My opponent, Republican Steve Wood, was not able to attend due to a funeral. I assume he went to the funeral of Republican Larry Justus, based on the moderator's comments. My condolences to Steve Wood and others who knew Mr. Justus.
