Free Fine Art Ceramic Sculpture

Perhaps this should be Free Fine Conceptual Art Sculpture-

OK, enough with the Prints, you say...what about Ceramics?

A lot of folks have access to ceramic toilets. However, toilets are also an integral part of Ceramic and Fine Art. (Maybe not as popular as a good teapot, but never the less, important.)

We can start off with the present day Kohler company, makers of fine toilets, and a very nice artist in residency program at their factory. Working back, in the early 60's, the Ceramic Artist Robert Arneson's John series helped to establish Funk art. And of course there is Marcel Duchamp's 1914 Fountain. (This list is not exhaustive.)

Marcel Duchamp's fountain was a ready made in that it was a found object that he exhibited as sculpture. Found Art is still popular today.

Marcel Duchamp may have lugged the urinal in to the gallery himself, but other art work requires assistance. If an artist is re-forming a crater, or installing tons of steel, or carving up a mountain, the artist needs some help...

...and that is where you come in...

Taking a queue from Sol LeWitt's 1975 Wall Drawing #263 in which LeWitt's work is the actual directions from which someone else created the graphic work, I offer the following:

The Finality Of Meaning Process Document.

(....and many thanks to Artlex for the help and references.)
