I've Been Framed

While sitting in the waiting room at a local office today, I noticed a framed print that had a some additions. The print was one of those Fine Art (photographically reproduced) Prints (as opposed to something hand pulled off a stone.)

The Artist had signed the piece with a pencil and placed their initials within the work as well, sort of a remarque, I suppose.

What really caught my attention was a note the artist wrote, thanking a person in the office for the great service. This note was signed in ink, and dated...on the glass of the frame itself.

There are many ways one could go with this...but I went with the idea of putting another print in the original's place. . .

To further abstract, how about the idea of an artist asserting responsibility for a total world view. Wouldn't signing the glass of an other wise empty frame be the perfect expression of that?
