Astronomical Decoration on Ceramics - Modern Along with ceramic tsukubai, mentioned yesterday, Daniel Oberti creates ceramic sundials and moondiscs. They are very well done, straightforward interpretations of the classic. I appreciate him including pyramids, spheres and other geometric shapes on the face. However, it is his Spheres of Influence pieces that really blow me away. Encorporating a concave dish on the surface of a large sphere just looks great. It is such a simple solution to sundial furniture and an elegant informational decoration for a sphere. 6:05:37 AM |
