Astronomical Decorations on Ceramics, Modern part II Not sure what to make of this.  Ptolemaic understanding of the solar system was not, as far as I know, in vouge in the 1940 France?  So why have a simple ceramic head on a post with the orbit of the other planets and the sun around its brow?  Maybe it was a hat stand with a conceptual component concerning Man's ego? 12:52:44 PM
