Potter's Shirts and Metaphors for Life- Another type of Potter's T-shirt is put out by Christian Fellowship Churches (The Potters House.) These are not really about the the practice of ceramics, but religion. The Potter's House was started in the early 1970's by Wayman Mitchell and is Pentecostal in nature.  Thus, they follow the idea of gifts such as speaking in tongues and healing.  It is evangelical and is quite active, having  programs on many days of the week. Pottery is an ancient craft, which is still woven into our, and other cultures.  It provides a multitude of metaphors for life.  It is mentioned in the Bible and probably other religious text (we'll see.)  So it is not to surprising to see pottery used in a religious context, or possibly secular one.
