Mosquitos: 12  Amature Astronomer: 2 It was a warm night, so I wore shorts ...  and then the mosquitos turned up. Since going into the house means the porch light turns on for about 10 minutes, ruining my night vision,  I decided to tough it out.  At one point I got so frustrated with the buzzing around my head, I whipped my hair back and forth, causing my nose to violently collide into the eye piece.  However, that was not as bad as the little dance I did into the tripod leg- had to reorient the scope after that. I failed at finding the Blinking Nebula from the other night.  I know I was right there...but couldn't see it blink, nor wink.  I did pick up M92, which turns out I'd seen before. (Thought it looked familiar -Not!)  and the Dumbbell Nebula ... which was cool to look at and summed up the night. 10:21:18 PM
