OUTRAGEOUS DOESN'T BEGIN TO DESCRIBE THIS!

Yesterday, Columbia University assistant professor of anthropology and Latino studies Nicholas De Genova said, and I quote, American soldiers should suffer "a million Mogadishus" in Iraq, refering to the Somali city where 18 U.S. soldiers were killed in the 1993 ambush and were dragged through the streets . De Genova also asserted that Americans who call themselves "patriots" are white supremacists and that the U.S. Army is composed largely of men and women with a "treacherous lack of prospects for a decent life."  De Genova's hopes for an American defeat in Iraq was cheered by the crowd of 3,000 people but his mention of the bloody Somali ambush was largely met with silence from the "stunned crowd."

My question for you is, what kind of twisted asshole is this guy? Would you want your son or daughter taught by this f*cking moron?

We confuse liberty with license in this country. This man is the most reprehensible type of pseudo-intellectual that masquerades as an educator. A person who would say something like this is nothing but the most loathsome of slime that feeds like a parasite on the freedom which this country offers, while doing nothing but hating it for every psychotic self-invented delusion that comes out of his sick and twisted hate-filled mind. It's one thing to protest against the war, to engage in acts of civil disobedience, or to use a public platform in the way that Michael Moore did at the Oscars. It's quite another thing to wish death on our young men and women who have dedicated themselves, not for any monetary pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, to preserving our freedom and our safety. You may disagree with the policies of this administration. You may think that they stole the election. You may think that all of our politicians, from the local level right up to the White House, are nothing but self-serving crooks. But to wish death on the loved ones of the citizens of this country who are out there to protect your (yes, your, Mr. DeGenova) ass crosses way over the line.

In my opinion, Mr. De Genova is someone who, outside of the most leftist academia, has a "treacherous lack of prospects for a decent life." If you agree, why not email him at  npd18@columbia.edu and tell him so.
