Big Fat Idiot

SteinbrennerNice job George. You just drove out of town the best pitcher on your team. But that's OK. You're going to tell us that it was the fault of your "baseball people." Never mind that year after year you constantly threatened to trade him. Maybe if he'd been a drug addict who'd been "banned for life" from baseball (with the option to apply for reinstatement) you'd have shown more interest in signing him. Now you're going to tell us that we're better off with a pitcher who's 10 years older and who, for the past 2 years, has a history of breaking down. Never mind the fact that for the last 7 years Andy Pettitte has been pulling your fat out of the fire. Well, that's just another thing you can blame on your "baseball people."

You're the same guy who traded Ron Davis, then the best set-up man in baseball, for Roy Smalley, a shortstop who couldn't seem to bend over to field the ball. I guess Bucky Dent just wasn't good enough. You drove Reggie, Goose and Nettles out of town. God knows, if Thurman Munson hadn't tragically died, you would've run him out too. How many years was it that Yogi wouldn't even set foot in Yankee Stadium because of you. So what are you going to treat us to now? Is it going to be just like when you told us that Dave Collins and Ken Griffey(Sr.) could make up for Reggie? You just can't leave well enough alone can you? You can't stand it when anybody else gets any credit.

If you think I'm mad George you're right. You're a big, fat, egotistical, arrogant bag of wind. Go f**k yourself.

Good luck Andy, we miss you already.
