Back From The Mall

One of the bad things about having my wife's family involved in Broadway theatre is that we can never get everyone together at Christmas. Of course, every cloud has its silver lining. Since we never get together to exchange presents until at least a week (if not more) after Christmas, we get to take advantage of the post-Christmas sales. I just got back from the mall with a trunk full of sale priced items.

Also, since everybody is talking about the latest Lord of the Rings movie, and how great it is, I've decided that I can't hold out any longer and have to go see it. Since it makes no sense watching the third movie if you haven't seen the first two, I picked them up on DVD while I was out shopping. Since my wife and I have decided not to go out and party with all of the amateurs, and stay in instead, we'll fire them up for New Years Eve - unless there's a game on.

*ducks and runs for cover*

Just kidding. I hope all of you (yes both of you that read this blog) got what you wanted for Christmas.
