New web book
I have been working hard on my new web book today. I also enlarged the title which is now: The Software Design and Development Book.
I am hoping to release the first version this week to start getting comments. It actually helps me a lot in my writing to get both positive and negative feedback from people. Of course, the best positive feedback (as far as motivating me!) is the many people who use PayPal or Amazon to send me a few dollars donation.
Internet application appliance
After our hike today, I did get back to work on my Internet application appliance product. For now, I am focussed on getting a prototype deployed as a web based application to both attract attention to the product and to get useful feedback from users. I had intended shipping it (eventually) as a standalone GUI application for Mac, Windows, and Linux, but now I am considering using a web based interface for the product also (I like the Radio UserLand application which works this way - I just wish Radio for Mac OS X would get fixed - it crashes often - this is a known problem, so a fix should come soon :-)
