Linux without X11? Errrrrr... Linux without X11? Errrrrr...
I saw some talk on Slashdot about "improving" Linux by doing away with X11 and implementing native, non-networked GUI support.
I really hate this idea. I have been using Unix and X11 for over 15 years and it is just too useful to be able to run jobs on one computer with the display on a client computer. If it is not broken, do not try to fix it :-)
