Press Release Makes It To JapanMichiharu Sakurai, aka mojix, from breakbeans in Japan has translated the press release for Zope 2.6.1. I've had a chance to meet him and work with him several times, including with OSCOM. He will work with the JZUG to get the press release distributed in Japan.10:10:51 PM ![]() |
Amos Rides AgainDavid at Pilot Systems forwarded me a link showing Amos Latteier and his racing pigeons. What a nice surprise to see a story about Amos, one of the best guys in Zopeland. And who could forget Amos' prosthetic ass project, which was surely robbed of its rightful Nobel Prize in Hilarity?10:00:27 PM ![]() |
CPS is looking really polishedAt SolutionsLinux two weeks ago, Arnaud at Nuxeo gave me demonstrations of the latest releases for CPS, the Zope-based content and collaboration system. The groupware functionality is coming along very nicely.
What really struck me, though, was the polish and refinement in the
interface. I've watched CPS evolve, with two visits to the Nuxeo office over
the last two years and now the expo in Paris. I can see the effect of the
finishing work. It's always the little things that open source folks skip, that
when done well, really create a positive user experience. |
