George Bush and Tony Blair have no interest in finding out who really was responsible for the Lockerbie bombing. In fact, they know it wasn't Libya. As a leftist country Libya was a convenient scapegoat, as the possibly real organiser of the bombing, Iran, was needed by the West in the fight against Iraq. And how was it possible that a bomb was checked in without problems at several European airports and some people were warned by American authorities not to board that flight? And how come the bombing of Tripoli by Americans was never brought before court or nobody thought of reparation for the downing of an Iranian passenger jet (which could have been the reason for retaliation and the Lockerbie bombing)?
Watch these two interviews (click the videos on the right of the page - don't worry, the interviews are in English).

DistinctivelyAmericanArts: "America's first well-known school of painting - the Hudson River school - appeared in 1820. As with music and literature, this development was delayed until artists perceived that the New World offered subjects unique to itself; in this case the westward expansion of settlement brought the transcendent beauty of frontier landscapes to painters' attention."
We could even say that since modern art, in which ugliness presides over beauty, American art has exploded as never before.

Reuters: "Voters go to the polls in south Lebanon on Sunday in the second phase of parliamentary elections with the country rattled by the assassination of a prominent anti-Syrian journalist."
How do you arrange a regime change and win the elections in Lebanon? You murder two (of your own) anti-establishment figures, provide the masses with lots of flags and placards in English and maybe the face of Bush on it, and there you have the guaranteed result.
But the chances that this is going to backfire are great. After years of peace and quiet will we see another civil war? Bush wouldn't give a damn.
