I do hope the war criminals will get their due. There is enough proof. Bush must explain his actions, if he can't he must go. This is the litmus test of our democracy. If Bush and Blair remain in power, it means democracy is dead and we are governed by liars.
TimesOnLine: "Tony Blair has been summonsed by a county court to appear as a witness in a case involving the mother of a soldier killed two days after the war in Iraq began in 2003.
Pat Blackburn, the mother of the 34-year-old soldier who was killed in a helicopter crash south of the Kuwait border on March 21, 2003, is to appear at Weymouth County Court next week charged with non- payment of £15,000 income tax in a case brought by the Inland Revenue. Mrs Blackburn has withheld paying her tax bill in protest over the Iraq war.
She has refused to clear the debt until Mr Blair either discloses the details of Iraq's alleged weapons of mass destruction or resigns."
Telegraph: "Tony Blair was accused last night of using terrorist control orders as a 'cynical election ploy' after it emerged that they had yet to be extended to any new suspects."
Independent: "Despite persistent rumours of injuries among Iraqis consistent with the use of incendiary weapons such as napalm, Adam Ingram, the Defence minister, assured Labour MPs in January that US forces had not used a new generation of incendiary weapons, codenamed MK77, in Iraq.
But Mr Ingram admitted to the Labour MP Harry Cohen in a private letter obtained by The Independent that he had inadvertently misled Parliament because he had been misinformed by the US. 'The US confirmed to my officials that they had not used MK77s in Iraq at any time and this was the basis of my response to you,' he told Mr Cohen. 'I regret to say that I have since discovered that this is not the case and must now correct the position.'"
And where was MI6 in all this? Couldn't they have made their own investigations? I am sure they have.
