wouldn't want it any other way

The last two weeks have been loooooong. Sure, still the standard 24. But those hours have been packed with some of my least favorite things.

e-rate steering committee documentation budget issues some travel.

On the plane ride back from Arizona last Thursday I sat next to a food salesman. I think for Kraft Foods. He talked about constant travel from store to store. He covers 5 big western states. He'd been golfing with his friends. If only! But not time for that nonsense for me. Too much going on.

I listened for a good part of the flight. I thought about it. Then it just came out. "I love technology.' Yes, I realized that, even with the bad things, building networks and working with technology is way better than selling food (or most other jobs I can imagine.)

Don't get me wrong, someone has to do it. I'm just glad it's not me. When my job gets bad I just need to remember that it could be worse. I also need to remember that when it comes right down to it, I wouldn't want it any other way..........
