I'm attending the Qwest High Performance Networking Summit for three days this week. I've signed an NDA (Non-disclosure agreement) so I feel the need to be careful about what I write in my blog. Perhaps I shouldn't even mention that I'm at a Qwest conference. I'll be sure not to mention the location (Colorado) so as to not take any chances.

I will mention a few things that are part of the conference without giving anything away. No wireless access. No network access of any kind. I mentioned this to a friend and he was surprised. "How can Qwest expect serious networking types to sit for three days in isolation?"

I did have an opportunity to as the gentleman organizing the conference about the network situation. He has omitted wireless to help us focus and keep our attention on the conference. Fair enough. I can bring a book tomorrow............
