What are the reasons why a web service would fail on the client side? For example, if I send my developer friend a link to my asmx or aspx, which works perfectly on my box and on my PDA as well as 2 other people's boxes, what would make it say "server not found?"

Guesses: he's using netscape, something is wrong with the URL, something is broken in IE.
