Spent the morning looking at the embedded visual C++ development environment. I don't know what this type of programming is called, but it seems it is necessary for me to figure out, as the recipient of my program (I won't say client) wants to save files locally and I don't blame him. Who would want to bother with going online all the time to do something. Anyway the next step is to figure out what this programming is called, and how to learn more about it. It is the type of programming that does not have a main, and uses windows messages to pass back and forth in order to get things done. There isn't forms or labels, but rather the results of messages. Very mysterious. comment []11:48:39 PM ![]() |
