As we approach our 1-year-in-Minnesota anniversary, I must say the climate has been very good to us, this first year. First, the (relatively) mild winter, with much less snow than where we came from (Indianapolis), and where my folks and sister live (Northern VA). Then, a gorgeous summer, with barely a trace of humidity, mild even by Minnesota standards. With nary a rainstorm, even. Finally, this incredible, protracted Indian summer. Wow. Can't last forever, I'm afraid.

I've never used, PriceLine, and after reading Andrew Sullivan's recent experience, I never will. I understand confirmed reservations, but this is too much--canceled, but no refund!
