Keystroke-logging scares the heck out of me. It seems like the obvious Achilles' Heel in the world of security and encryption. Once a hardware or software keystroke-logger is installed on a system thought to be secure, the game is over (depending on what the master of the logger has in mind).

It seems to me that a robust solution to this problem would be secure keyboards. The keyboard would be like a mini-computer, setting up an encrypted stream between it and the PC. But because the keyboard never needs to have software installed on it, it would remain factory-secure over its lifetime.
